GatorBack Coatings are now available in 11 ounce aerosol cans. This will provide for an alternative method of application. In addition to spraying traditional GatorBack with a spray gun or rolling it on discolored cladding, the new aerosol product may be sprayed on surfaces right out of the can. This product is also ideal for touch-ups to cladding that has been accidentally scraped or slightly damaged.

The amount of product required for an entire vehicle will vary with the amount of cladding to be coated as well as the amount of oxidation. For color changes (for example converting medium gray to black) two coats are required, essentially doubling the amount of GatorBack-A needed.

Following are some guidelines as to amount to be ordered. Please keep in mind that these are suggested amounts, as the density of application, degree of fading, etc. will affect the actual total.

For an Avalanche with upper cladding only: 4 cans
For a fully cladded Avalanche: 8 cans
For an Escalade EXT: 2 cans
For vehicles with limited cladding (bumpers and running boards): 1-2 cans

It is recommended that a can of GatorBack Cleaner be ordered with GatorBack-A to properly prepare cladded surfaces for coating.
